Rebound Contract

The Rebound Contract is designed for wallets that at any point in the past staked VOW / vUSD LP tokens, regardless of what later happened to those LPs (unstaked, restaked, sold, or held).

Each eligible wallet has been permanently recorded with two values:

  • (A) LP Amount - the original number of VOW / vUSD LP tokens that were staked
  • (B) USD Value - the USD value of those LP tokens at the time they were staked

How the Rebound Works

  1. Swap your allocation of LP Tokens:
    You return (A) LP tokens to the Rebound Contract.
  2. Receive TLN Gold:
    In exchange you will receive an amount of TLN Gold tokens, which is immediately and automatically burned.
  3. v$ Rebound Loan Created:
    Your wallet receives a rebound loan denominated at (B), the original USD value of your LP position. The v$ are instantly minted by the contract and your rebound loan is placed into the loan queue.
  4. Loan Execution:
    As you know, when the market price of v$ exceeds $0.75, queued loans begin executing in order. When your loan reaches the front of the queue, the v$ loan position is used to buy VOW directly from the market.
  5. Rebound Mechanism
    From the moment your loan executes:
    • If the price of VOW increases by 2.5×,
    • The contract burns 1.5× of the VOW held within the loan position,
    • You may then claim VOW equal to (B) in value directly to your wallet.

Ideal Outcome

  • Lost LP value is transformed into deferred market buy pressure for VOW
  • Supply is reduced through automatic VOW burns
  • Participants recover value only after real price appreciation, aligning incentives across the system
